- 2 Timothy 4:17

Guess what? Did you know the Lord is right here with you today, lavishing you with everything you need? Isn’t that amazing?

Whatever challenges come your way, He wants you to entrust them to Him, making Him a priority.

So many times, when I am weighed down with all I must do in a day, if I pray and spend time with God first, I can better handle things, and they get done smoothly and without stress.

When we seek God’s help, He gives us what we need to carry out His divine plan.

He comes through for us. He has already gifted us with eternal life. And, if He gave His life for me, won’t He then equip me to do His will?

Even more astonishing is that God wants to work through each of us to fulfill His grand design and plan.

You have been chosen by Him as His representative of love to those around you.

Every twist and turn in your journey can illuminate others’ paths, helping them see God through you.

So instead of dreading today and all you must do, commit your day to the Lord and ask Him to direct your path. Ask Him to fill you with His love so you can show others who He is. It could be through a kind note, a warm meal, or a smile and a hug. The love you show for Jesus today might be the very thing that someone needs to see Jesus.

Prayer: Jesus, please help me to be mindful of those around me. Let me be aware of the hurting, lost, and needy so that I might respond like you. Amen.

With Love,
Sherry Shepherd
