You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.

Did you know that the closer you are to God, the less vulnerable you will be to sin and temptation? Intimacy with your Lord and Savior is your biggest defense against the enemy’s attacks.

It is the key to peace and joy in your life.

When you are having a great day or something wonderful occurs in your life, who do you want to tell first?

When you are having a terrible day and need support and encouragement, who is your go-to person?

Most likely, the person you thought of knows you well. You have spent time together cultivating a relationship with them.

God wants to spend daily time with you. He desires to know you like you know your best friend.

Relationships take time. For your relationship with Christ to grow and be strong, you must spend time with Him.

Luke tells us in this verse we are to love the Lord with all our heart, strength, soul, and mind. That kind of love requires giving of our whole selves.

As you meditate on this verse, is there any part of yourself that you are holding back from God? Ask Him to reveal to you what areas of your life that you need to surrender to Him fully today.
