Come and see what God has done….  - Psalm 66:5

Come and see what God has done…

- Psalm 66:5

Prayer is a vital part of our life with God.

Without prayer, how could we communicate with the One who loves us unconditionally and cares for us so gently?

God is good. Everything about Him is good. All the time.

Even the hard stuff of life that He allows comes from His goodness.

It’s important to tell God “Thank you” for His goodness.

The Psalms express a wide range of emotions and reflections. Psalm 66 is a song of thanksgiving to God. The writer of this Psalm thanks God for the good things and the hard things.

TODAY: Just like this psalmist does, make a list of things in your life for which you can thank God!

Come and see what God has done,
his awesome deeds for mankind!
He turned the sea into dry land,
they passed through the waters on foot—
come, let us rejoice in him.
He rules forever by his power,
his eyes watch the nations—
let not the rebellious rise up against him.
Praise our God, all peoples,
let the sound of his praise be heard;
He has preserved our lives
and kept our feet from slipping.
For you, God, tested us;
you refined us like silver.
You brought us into prison
and laid burdens on our backs.
You let people ride over our heads;
we went through fire and water,
but you brought us to a place of abundance. Psalm 66:5-12

I love this! We just went through a bad hurricane and we prayed so hard and it gave us so much peace.
