Jasmine Marrero Bio

Jasmine Marrero is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in child psychiatry and family systems. In her personal time she loves reading, walks along the waterfront, binging on True Crime series, baking and zumba. Most importantly she loves writing and being a worshipper of the Lord; spending quiet time with Him and drawing inspiration. From the age of 14 when Jasmine took hold of the Lord's hand and welcomed Him into her heart, writing became such a special form of expression, especially since she was kind of an introvert. And still is! But she loves sharing what's on her heart and can be quite chatty after you get to know her!

Drawing inspiration from personal experiences as well as over a decade of working with youth and families both in the work sector and in church, Jasmine has found writing as a way to integrate the two, along with her passion for writing and her love for God. She is the author of the children's christian book "Are you there God" and is one of the co-authors for a mental health resource guide for clinicians "Helping Kids in Crisis. Managing Psychiatric Emergencies in Children and Adolescents". She currently resides in New Jersey but works in New York.
